From beautiful coastal towns and vibrant cities to dramatic mountain landscapes, vineyards and historic villages, this rally offers a wonderful mix of organised excursions and relaxing free time.
Explore Bilbao and the iconic Guggenheim Museum, enjoy wine tasting at a family-run vineyard and discover the culinary delights of San Sebastián. Travel into the spectacular Picos de Europa, including a ride on the famous Fuente Dé cable car, and visit the historic towns of Potes and Cudillero. In Galicia, unwind beside the beach at Bayona, enjoy a sunset boat trip to the Cíes Islands and discover the historic city of Santiago de Compostela.
With welcoming meals, scenic campsites and plenty of opportunities to experience the local food, wine, culture and scenery, this is a fantastic way to discover some of Spain’s most beautiful northern regions.

View CampsitePerched on a hillside overlooking Zarautz Bay and the surrounding mountains, Gran Camping Zarautz is the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Basque Country. The walk into Zarautz involves around 400 steep steps, so a quick taxi is recommended if you would like to visit. During your stay here, have an excursion planned for every day.
Welcome Evening Meal
Start your rally by coming together for a welcome meal at the campsite restaurant.
8 June – Excursion to Bilbao
Discover the highlights of Bilbao, a vibrant city where striking modern architecture meets a historic old town.
Your day begins with a visit to the world-renowned Guggenheim Museum, where you will have around two hours to explore its impressive collection and iconic architecture.
From here, travel by tram into the heart of the Old Town and head to Plaza Nueva, where a delicious lunch awaits. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore the surrounding streets, browse the shops or soak up the atmosphere of Bilbao.
Later in the afternoon, take the tram towards the Artxanda Funicular. A short walk across the distinctive Zubizuri footbridge and through the city leads to the funicular, where you can ascend the hillside for spectacular panoramic views across Bilbao.
The coach will meet you at the top of the funicular for your to the campsite.
9 June – Relax & Wine Tasting
After a busy day exploring Bilbao, enjoy a relaxing morning at the campsite or take a taxi into Zarautz to explore at your own pace.
In the afternoon, take a short walk to a small, family-run vineyard located just 15 minutes from the campsite. Set among 12 hectares of vineyards, enjoy a relaxed wine tasting on the terrace while taking in the surrounding scenery.
10 June – Excursion to San Sebastián
Today you will travel to the elegant coastal city of San Sebastián, renowned for its beautiful bay, historic Old Town and world-famous culinary scene.
Enjoy a relaxed day exploring independently. Wander through the atmospheric streets of the Old Town, visit the beautiful Basilica of Santa María del Coro, browse the shops or stop at one of the city's many traditional pintxos bars.
Rather than following a formal guided tour, the day is deliberately unstructured, giving you the freedom to discover San Sebastián at your own pace. The city's intimate pintxos bars are best enjoyed in smaller groups, making this the perfect opportunity to choose your own route and experience the city as you wish.
- 11 Jun - 15 Jun: Caravanning Oyambre (4 nights)

View Campsite
Set within a beautiful National Park, Caravanning Oyambre is a first-class campsite surrounded by the spectacular scenery of Cantabria. The beach is around a 15-minute walk away, while the nearest town is approximately 4km from the campsite. A local bus stops outside the campsite, although services are less frequent in June, so it is recommended that you check the current timetable with reception.
The campsite offers excellent facilities, including a restaurant and bar, an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and an indoor pool.
Evening Meal
Settle in and enjoy an evening meal at the campsite restaurant on your first evening.
12 June – Relax at the Campsite
Enjoy a relaxing day at Caravanning Oyambre. Take some time to explore the campsite, walk down to the nearby beach or simply relax by the pool and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
13 June – Excursion to the Picos de Europa
Relax as you are transported through the Hermida Gorge and into the heart of the mountains.
The fully escorted excursion begins with a scenic coach journey to Fuente Dé, where you can take the famous cable car high into the mountains. At the top, enjoy free time to take in the breathtaking alpine scenery and panoramic views. The viewing area can be windy, so an extra layer is recommended.
Continue to the historic Monastery of Santo Toribio, home to the revered Lignum Crucis relic. After time to explore the monastery, travel onwards to the charming medieval town of Potes.
Enjoy a traditional lunch before having free time to discover this compact mountain town. Wander through the atmospheric streets, admire the traditional timber-framed buildings, browse the local shops or simply enjoy the spectacular mountain backdrop.
For an easier walk, a more gradual route towards the historic centre and riverside avoids some of the steeper cobbled streets.
Return by coach to the campsite.
14 June – Farewell Meal
Enjoy a final relaxing day at the campsite before coming together for a farewell meal. Share your favourite memories from your time exploring Cantabria and the spectacular Picos de Europa.
- 15 Jun - 17 Jun: Playa de Tapia (2 nights)

View Campsite
The next stop is the small and peaceful Playa de Tapia campsite, just outside the charming fishing town of Tapia de Casariego. The town is around 1.6km away, approximately a 30-minute walk, while the beach is just five minutes from the campsite.
The campsite is small and offers more basic facilities than some of the previous stops, but its beautiful coastal setting, spectacular views and wonderful sunsets make it a memorable place to spend a couple of nights.
16 June – Excursion to Cudillero & Oviedo
Discover two very different sides of Asturias, beginning with the picturesque fishing village of Cudillero.
Enjoy some free time to wander through its colourful streets, admire the famous amphitheatre of houses cascading down towards the harbour, or simply relax with a coffee and take in the atmosphere of this charming coastal village.
Continue inland to Oviedo, the elegant capital of Asturias. Enjoy a traditional group lunch and cider-tasting experience on the city's famous Cider Boulevard, where local cider is poured in the traditional style from above.
After lunch, take a gentle stroll through Oviedo's historic Old Town, with the opportunity to see the magnificent San Salvador Cathedral and explore the city's atmospheric streets and squares before meeting the coach for the return journey to the campsite.
- 17 Jun - 23 Jun: Camping Bayona Playa (6 nights)

For the final stop of the Spanish adventure, settle in for six relaxing nights at Camping Bayona Playa, beautifully situated beside the long sandy beach of the Rías Baixas. With panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding bay, this is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the final days of the rally.
Spend time swimming, paddle boarding or simply relaxing on the beach, or take a leisurely stroll to the nearby towns of Sabarís and Baiona, around 40 minutes away on foot. Both offer a good selection of restaurants, shops and cafés to discover.
The campsite has excellent facilities, including a restaurant serving traditional Galician and Spanish cuisine, making it an ideal base for the final few days.
17 June - Evening Meal
Enjoy an evening meal on your first night at the campsite.
18 June – Free Day
Enjoy a completely free day to relax and make the most of the campsite and its beautiful coastal setting. Take a walk along the beach, explore Baiona or simply sit back and enjoy the views.
19 June – Sunset Boat Trip to the Cíes Islands
Enjoy one of the highlights of the stay in Galicia with a sunset boat trip from Baiona to the Cíes Islands.
Enjoy an afternoon excursion to a medieval town for free time, followed by a relaxing sunset cruise. Sit back and take in the breathtaking scenery as the sun begins to set, with a glass of local wine to enjoy along the way. A wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty of the Galician coast from the water.
20 June – Free Day
Another opportunity to enjoy Galicia at your own pace. Relax at the campsite, head to the beach or venture into Baiona for some sightseeing, shopping or lunch.
21 June – Excursion to Santiago de Compostela
Travel by coach to Santiago de Compostela, one of Spain's most fascinating and historic cities and the renowned final destination of the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
On arrival, enjoy a guided tour through the atmospheric Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, discovering its magnificent architecture, historic squares and narrow cobbled streets.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Discover hidden corners, browse the local shops or stop at one of the city's lively tapas bars before returning to the campsite.
22 June – Free Day & Farewell Meal
Enjoy a final free day in Galicia before coming together for a farewell meal in the evening. Raise a glass and share your favourite memories from an unforgettable journey through northern Spain.
23 June – Rally Ends
After an incredible journey through the Basque Country, Cantabria, Asturias and Galicia, the rally comes to an end. Say goodbye before beginning your onward journey home.
