The rally continues with an authentic Hungarian countryside experience at Tanyacsárda Horse Ranch, featuring traditional food, live music, dancing, and a spectacular horse show. Relax in the historic thermal waters of Hódmezővásárhely before heading to Lake Balaton, where you will enjoy lakeside scenery, a sunset cruise, and a visit to the magnificent Festetics Palace.
With a perfect balance of organised excursions and free time, this rally offers a wonderful blend of culture, cuisine, history, and relaxation across two beautiful European countries.

View CampsiteStart the rally in Vienna at the city campsite, Donaupark Camping Klosterneuburg. The campsite is an excellent location for visiting Vienna, just 300m away from the S-Bahn and 30 minutes from the centre. The campsite is a typical city site, with pitches that can be narrow and close together, all with 6-amp electricity. There is a small shop on site, and a Spar supermarket 500m away.
A short walk takes you into the town of Klosterneuburg, where you can visit the magnificent Augustinian Abbey and experience an authentic Austrian Town.
8 June
Danube TowerToday, make your own way into the centre of Vienna, and to the iconic Danube Tower, one of Vienna’s most recognisable landmarks, offering spectacular panoramic views across the city and the surrounding Danube landscape. You will ascend to the observation areas to take in the impressive skyline before enjoying an arranged lunch at the revolving Turm Restaurant. As the restaurant slowly rotates, you can relax whilst enjoying a delicious 3-course meal.

View CampsiteYour next destination is the scenic Pap Sziget camping, an island campsite nestled directly on the Danube River. The campsite is accessed via a wooden bridge, suitable for large motorhomes, and has an authentic and rustic feel with grassy pitches and tall trees. The sanitary blocks are older, with a nostalgic ‘summer camp’ feel, but are clean and spacious.
There is a snack bar, a small pizzeria, and a traditional Hungarian csárda restaurant immediately adjacent to the grounds. A well-stocked Spar supermarket is just a 500-metre walk off the island
The campsite has been handpicked for its location to the cathedral city of Esztergom and walking distance to the charming, cobblestone old town of Szentendre.

On your first evening, enjoy a meal at the campsite restaurant.11 June
Coach excursion to the town of EsztergomEsztergom is one of Hungary’s oldest cities and is home to the Esztergom Basilica, the largest church in the country. Your coach and guide will meet you at 9:00 to begin the journey to Esztergom, with a scenic stop en route at Visegrád Citadel to enjoy the panoramic views over the dramatic Danube Bend (please note that there will be no visit inside the citadel).
Continue to Esztergom, where you will begin with a traditional organised lunch before taking part in a guided walking tour, including entrance into the impressive Basilica to discover its magnificent interior. After the tour, enjoy some free time to explore at your own pace, perhaps visit the nearby Royal Castle ruins, take a walk across the Maria Valeria Bridge into Slovakia (time permitting), or relax in a local coffee shop, before returning by coach to the campsite.12 June

View CampsiteNext, you travel slightly north to Tulipán campsite, located close to the famous 'Valley of the Beautiful Women’, known for its many wine cellars, with some carved into volcanic rock. The campsite is also only a 20-minute walk to the centre of Eger, a very attractive medieval small town.

Lunch and wine tasting in SzépasszonyvölgyToday begins with a short walk to the picturesque Szépasszonyvölgy, widely known as the Valley of the Beautiful Women, for a traditional Hungarian lunch. Following your meal, you will gather at the Juhász Testvérek Wine Cellar for an exclusive, organised tasting of six regional wines. (Please note: Because you will be arriving straight from lunch, no additional food will be served during the tasting.).

Walking tour of EgerToday you will walk back into Szépasszonyvölgy and board the Dottika tourist road train for a comfortable transfer into the town of Eger, arriving near Dobó Square.
The train has been reserved as a private charter for the group and has a maximum capacity of 36 adults.On arrival, meet your local guide for a walking tour of Eger, discovering the town’s historic sights and highlights, followed by free time to explore at your own pace. Afterwards, you can either enjoy a pleasant 20-minute walk back to the campsite or return by tourist train to Szépasszonyvölgy, followed by a short 5-minute walk back to the campsite.

Free time to explore Budapest - 22 Jun - 23 Jun: Tanyacsarda Horse Ranch (1 nights)

Today you leave Budapest and drive the short 70 km south to the Tanyacsárda Horse Ranch, a renowned traditional Hungarian ranch set in the countryside. Here you will experience authentic Hungarian hospitality, cuisine and horsemanship.
Arrive at 12 and settle into the dedicated camping area. Shortly afterwards, you will receive a warm welcome with freshly baked, hot crackling scones and a glass of brandy.
Afterwards, you will take part in a ride in horse-drawn carriages among the sand hills of the Great Plains.
The highlight of the program is a spectacular equestrian showcase featuring the skills of the csikósok (Hungarian cowboys), their disciplined Lipizzaner stud, and the world-famous "Puszta Five" formation. As you take your seats at the arena grandstand, the air fills with the sounds of cracking whips and galloping hooves. You will watch in awe as these master horsemen demonstrate complete synergy with their mounts, performing daring feats of balance, speed, and agility that have been passed down through generations.
The performance reaches its thrilling climax with the legendary "Puszta Five" – a display where a single rider stands upright, with one foot planted firmly on the backs of two galloping rear horses, while masterfully guiding three more horses charging ahead in front of them.
The experience finishes with a walk through the little farm and stables, where you will see the local Hungarian Grey cattle and Racka sheep.
In the evening, join together for a traditional Hungarian grill, where the chefs prepare authentic dishes in true countryside style. Watch as a rich goulash is cooked slowly in a large pot over an open fire, while a selection of meats are grilled BBQ-style. Help yourselves to the freshly prepared meats, salads and accompaniments whilst enjoying the live music and traditional Hungarian dancers.
Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to join the dancers, learn some traditional Hungarian steps, and experience the lively music and atmosphere first-hand.

While the amenities are straightforward and basic, the true highlight of your stay is the complimentary, unlimited access to the 1930s lido-style thermal spa complex directly connected to the grounds. Here, you can immerse yourself in the unique and restorative experience of bathing in historic Hungarian thermal waters.
Although the campsite doesn’t have a restaurant, you will find casual food kiosks around the pool areas offering hot dogs, burgers gyros etc. There is also a selection of restaurants nearby.

View CampsiteThis campsite is beautifully located right on the lake, with its own beach and mini lido, which are complimentary for campsite guests to enjoy. It is a medium-sized, tidy campsite offering a wide range of facilities and a pleasant setting for a relaxing stay.
The train and bus station is conveniently located approximately 850 metres away (around a 12-minute walk), providing easy access to the surrounding area.
27 June
Sunset cruiseThis evening, you will be collected by coach and taken to the port of Balatonfured, where you will board a BAHART boat for a 90-minute sunset cruise around Lake Balaton. Upon your arrival, you will enjoy a Complimentary glass of sparkling wine or soft drink, enjoy some pleasant music and watch the sunset over the lake as the boat cruises the lake.Your coach will meet you after the cruise and return you to the campsite.
Note this is not a private boat, and further drinks can be purchased on board from the buffet.
28 June
Day trip to Keszthely and Festetics' PalaceThis morning, you will be collected by a private coach and travel to the beautiful lakeside town of Keszthely. You will have the morning completely free to stroll down the grand promenade, visit the waterfront shops, or simply relax by the shores of Lake Balaton.
Following individual lunch arrangements, you will meet at the magnificent Festetics Palace, one of Hungary’s largest and most impressive Baroque masterpieces, for an exclusive guided tour. Afterwards, you will wander through the palace's fascinating exhibitions, including the famous Helikon Library and the historic carriage museum.
Later, meet your coach for the return journey to the campsite.
29 June
On your last evening, meet once again for the farewell meal at the campsite restaurant.10 June

All costs are an estimate based on 2026 prices and will be reconfirmed in the Autumn. We estimate this rally will be between £1,175 and £1,225 per person.
Although we do not expect the rally price to rise above £1,225 per person, we cannot guarantee against unforeseen price increases beyond standard expectations. Should the final price exceed this, and you choose not to proceed, a full refund of your deposit will be offered, provided you cancel within 7 days of the revised price being published.
