- 09 Sept - 10 Sept: Camping Tramp Nr.33, (1 nights)
-
The campsite is quite basic and potentially in need of an update, however the location is excellent for a one night stopover and allows you to visit the town before continuing the journey to the north of Poland.
The site is located next to the main bridge that takes you into the city, there are reports of road noise from the busy road so take ear plugs. However, the beautiful old town is accessible by a 15 / 20-minute walk and is certainly worth a visit. Torun is one of the few polish cities to escape major damage during the war and the beautifully preserved old town is now a UNESCO world heritage site.
