The package price includes:

  • 14 nights of campsite fees
  • 3 x three-course meals
  • Wine tasting in Eroch
  • Cable car ride to the summit of Schilthorn, including lunch at the revolving panorama restaurant

Itinerary

03 Sept - 04 Sept: Camping d’ Épernay, France (1 nights)
Camping epernay

Your first over night stop is at the municipal campsite of Camping d' Épernay, a well-maintained and peaceful site located on the banks of the River Marne.  Perfectly located with just a 5 minute drive from 2 shopping centres and 5km to the town centre of Épernay.

The campsite offers 109 level grass pitches, bordered by hedges and mature trees. The site features excellent tarmac roads and sports facilities, including a kayak school and boat hire. 

Twin axles are not permitted.

04 Sept - 05 Sept: Camping les Herlequins (1 nights)
Camping les Herlequins

On your second day you will drive onwards to Camping Les Herlequins, a friendly, riverside campsite in Saint-Usage with a picturesque setting. During your one night stay, why not meet your fellow ralliers for a drink or bite to eat in the campsite restaurant or take a 10 minute stroll into the small town of Saint Jean de Losne.

05 Sept - 08 Sept: Camping Erlach (3 nights)
CAMPING ERLACH

Today you will arrive at your first campsite in Switzerland where you will stay for 3 nights.  Camping Erlach is a peaceful campsite located on the shores of Lake Biel with beautiful views of the Jura mountains and the lake.  

Once you have settled in why not take a stroll around the grounds, check out the small beach and marina, or take a short walk into the nearby picturesque village of Erlach.  A little later, you will re-join your group for an organised three course evening meal in the campsite restaurant. A prefect way to take in the sunset over the lake and chat about your day with your fellow ralliers.

Though located in Bern canton, Neuchâtel is easily reachable by ferry in about an hour, offering 16th-century fountains and fascinating museums.

Excursion:

Wine tasting in Erlach’s charming old town accompanied with  a selection of local cheese and meats

08 Sept - 11 Sept: Camping Jungfrau (3 nights)
Camping Junfrau

Next you will journey 105 km to Camping Jungrau, set in a dramatic valley and nestled right at the foot of the famous Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains, needless to say the views are spectacular. 

During your first evening, meet in the campsite restaurant and enjoy a delicious 3 course meal of traditional Swiss uisine. 

Excursion:

Walk 10mins to the village of Lauterbrunnen where you will take the 20 minute bus journey to Stechelberg, the lowest station for the cable car to Mount Schilthorn.

Take a cable car to the summit of Mount Schilthorn for spectacular stunning panoramic views of the Swiss skyline including Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau.

Enjoy an organised lunch at Piz Gloria, the revolving restaurant famously featured in On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (1963). During your meal, the restaurant will slowly rotate and glide past over 200 mountain peaks.

During your decent, why not stop off at Birg and experience the exciting platform over a vertical precipice with a spine-tingling view into the abyss!

Once back on ground level, take the 20 minutes bus journey back to the Lauterbrunnen and onwards to the campsite.

11 Sept - 14 Sept: Camping Bad Ragaz (3 nights)
Mountain View

Continue the next 200km to your last campsite in Switzerland, Bad Ragaz situated at the foot of the Pizol mountain and nestled nicely in the Rhine Valley. Camping Bad Ragaz offers a peaceful camping experience in a small forest near the river.  Guests of the campsite can also enjoy free access to the nearby Giessenparkbad pool and recreation park.  

During your stay, why not experience the healing waters of the mystical Tamina Gorge where you will discover a 450m tunnel through the rock interior to spring fed water grottos.  You can reach the gorge by a one hour  pleasant walk, or take you can take a local bus.

Excursion:

During your stay you can enjoy an organised coach journey to Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. On your arrival you will experience a guided walking tour, including a visit to the Princely Theatre where you can take a behind the scenes virtual tour of the fascinating Vaduz castle.  Following then tour, you will have some free time to explore the town at your own pace and grab a bite to eat. 

Next you will continue by coach to the picturesque mountain village of Malbun. During winter it's a popular ski resort (prince Charles even learnt to ski here), but during the summer months its a beautiful green valley with more views to be experienced.  On your arrival you will climb aboard the 4 seat Sareis chair lift where you will be transported 2,000 metres to the top SareiserJoch, taking in the majestic mountains and wooden lodges surrounding you.  Once at the top, take in the view with a drink on the restaurant terrace before starting your decent. 

On your last night, you will meet in the campsite restaurant for a final organised evening meal of 3 courses.

14 Sept - 16 Sept: Camping Adam (2 nights)
Camping Adam

Tonight you will spend 2 night at the family-owned lakeside site of Camping Adam, an ideal location for a stopover or a good base to explore the Black Forest.

The site features a lake with separate areas for bathing, boating, and windsurfing, plus a waterslide. 

A shop and restaurant/bar remain open most of the year.

On your last night you return to the well-maintained, peaceful site of Camping d’Epernay.

A return ferry crossing with Irish Ferries is included in the package price, and you can choose to travel out and return on any date and time that suits you.

If you prefer to travel with an alternative operator, such as P&O Ferries or Le Shuttle, please contact us for a bespoke quote.
