Join the Lincolnshire Centre for a relaxing 14-night rally at Château du Gandspette in northern France, staying on standard grass pitches with 10-amp electricity. Enjoy a welcome meal at the campsite restaurant before setting off to explore the surrounding area with three organised excursions.
Discover the waterways and industrial heritage of Arques, including a visit to the historic Fontinettes Boat Lift and a guided boat trip through the canals. Explore the charming town of Saint-Omer on a guided walking tour, followed by free time to enjoy lunch, a coffee or independent sightseeing.
The rally also includes an afternoon visit to Clairmarais Abbey Brewery, where you’ll discover the history of the former Cistercian abbey, learn about traditional beer production and enjoy a tasting of locally brewed beers.
With a welcome meal, fascinating excursions and opportunities to discover the history, culture and countryside of northern France, this Lincolnshire Centre rally offers a varied and enjoyable getaway.
Prices are a guide based on 2026 pricing. Final 2027 prices will be released later in the year.
Once the final 2027 costs have been confirmed, if prices increase by more than 5% above the guide price, customers who choose not to proceed will be offered a full refund of their deposit, provided this is requested within 14 days of the confirmed price being issued.

Excursion to Arques – Boat Trip & Fontinettes Boat LiftTravel by coach to Arques for a fascinating excursion exploring the area’s waterways and industrial heritage. Begin with a self-guided visit to the Fontinettes Boat Lift, before enjoying a guided boat tour to discover the world of rivers and canals. The cruise will pass through the highest lock in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, offering the opportunity to see boats navigating the waterways and learn more about the area’s fascinating history. The coach will return to Château Gandspette afterwards.
Tuesday 08 June
Excursion to Saint-Omer – Guided Walking TourTravel by coach to the historic town of Saint-Omer for a guided walking tour, discovering the town's fascinating history and main sights. Afterwards, enjoy some free time to explore independently, perhaps stopping for lunch or a coffee, before returning by coach to Château Gandspette.

Clairmarais Abbey Brewery – Tour and wine tastingEnjoy an afternoon visit to the Brasserie de l’Abbaye de Clairmarais, located within the historic farm of the former Cistercian Abbey of Clairmarais. Discover the fascinating history of the abbey, founded in 1140, and learn how the tradition of brewing beer has been brought back to life after more than two centuries.
During the guided tour, discover the brewery and learn about the production of its traditional abbey-style beers, before finishing with a tasting of the locally brewed beers. There will also be an opportunity to visit the brewery shop before the coach returns the group to Château Gandspette.

Includes:
- All campsite fees, including tourist tax.
- A welcome meal and three excursions.
- A return ferry crossing with Irish Ferries.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome on the rally; however, they are not permitted on the excursions. One person must therefore remain behind at the campsite with the dog. A discount will be applied to the non-participating person, provided the group's minimum excursion numbers have been met.
Dogs' campsite fees are to be paid for locally.
Deposit and final balance
To secure your place on the rally, please register your interest using the form below. A booking form will then be sent to you by email. Once we receive your completed booking form, we will send you a quotation. If you wish to proceed, a non-refundable deposit will be required to confirm your booking.
A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total holiday cost is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 10 weeks before departure, with an automatic reminder sent 2 weeks before the payment due date.
